Pervasive SQLV9 Server Install Instructions

Note the use of the word client means workstation

1)  Install Pervasive SQL V9 Normally per Pervasive’s Documentation, including the workstation installs.

2) At the Server Click Start Programs Pervasive.SQL V9

    a) On the right under Common Tasks Click Configure local Engine  - See Picture

    b) On the Left Click Access - Ensure Allow Cache Engine Connections is uncheck - See Picture

    c) Click Apply and Ok and if it asks to Restart Services allow it to.  It is recommended you double check to ensure your settings were saved.

2) At Each Client you will need to Click Start Programs Pervasive.SQL V9

    and under common Tasks click Configure Microkernel Router

    a) on the Left hand side under Performance Tuning  Uncheck Use Cache Engine

    b) on the left hand side under Application characteristics  Uncheck Embedded Spaces

Click Apply and Ok and if it wants to Restart Say Yes.
