Handheld Pocket PC Module

This module allows you to download appointments, patient’s progress notes, prescriptions and reminders from the AMS System to your handheld pocket PC. Also download the encounter form table, macros/templates and common scripts.

As you see patients in the exam room, hospital or nursing home, create a new progress note, write scripts and set reminders. Create an electronic encounter by selecting the pertinent diagnosis and procedure codes for the visit. Add and enter data on any new patients who
are not part of your AMS database.

When the input from the Pocket PC is
uploaded back to the AMS system,
a charge transaction is created from
the encounter information and all other
information is updated.
