You must have the Electronic Medical Records System to use this module.

Search by Drug or Drug Class and formulary status, check for Drug Interactions, send scripts electronically to local and mail order pharmacies.

Industry statistics indicate it takes about 1/4 the time to process a script refill electronically than it would to pull the paper chart,  have the script written, document and re-file the chart.  e-Prescribing is also a requirement for the EHR Stimulus Certification.
