In conjunction with our suite of software products, American Medical Software provides other services and resources. Some are included in the software purchase, others are optional or may be available through a vendor partner.

When a system is purchased from American Medical Software, the Implementation and Training is included in the price. We recognize the importance of the system being installed properly and the staff being trained correctly from the beginning. This service often costs extra with other vendors.

Our sales and technical staff will work closely with the hardware vendor of your choosing to help setup and install the ideal hardware/network configuration for you and ensure that our software is installed properly. Our current Hardware Requirements should be followed.

As we replace other software with an AMS system, we are often asked “Can my data be transferred?” This is referred to as a Data Conversion and may be available depending on the data structure of the old software.

HL7 Laboratory Interfaces are optionally available. This will allow electronic test results to be imported directly into the patient’s chart.
