Be Prepared…
Are you prepared to meet the mandatory NY electronic prescribing deadline on March 27, 2016? As the deadline quickly approaches, New York physicians are left scrambling for an e-prescribing solution that will fulfill the states new requirements. E-prescribing software and services can sometimes be bought or subscribed to separate from more traditional EHR packages that include electronic medical records and e-prescribing but choosing to e-prescribe separately severely limits a practice’s capabilities. E-prescribing through an EHR integrated solution gives practices more freedom and features but less errors that are more commonly associated with stand alone electronic prescribing systems due to double entry, transcribing errors, inability to check against drug/allergy interactions, etc. New York practices should now consider purchasing and implementing a fully integrated EHR system with e-Prescribing to meet the March deadline and begin planning for the future.
American Medical Software offers fully integrated, ONC certified EHR with e-prescribing solutions at affordable direct purchase or low monthly lease-to-purchase options. Contact American Medical Software today at 800-423-8836 and beat the deadline before it’s too late!
